Software engineer building resilient backend systems, developer tools, and production software that holds up under real conditions.

I'm Elvis Ndubuisi, a software engineer based in Abuja, Nigeria, with 4+ years designing backend systems, developer tools, and SaaS platforms. I've modernized legacy applications, built offline-first systems that keep working when the network doesn't, designed payment integrations, and shipped production software across healthcare, creator economy, and property management products.

Today, I'm building AI-powered developer tools and business software, with the long-term goal of creating technology that serves millions of businesses across Africa and beyond.

What I Do

I enjoy solving problems that sit at the intersection of software engineering, product design, and business operations.

Rather than building isolated features, I enjoy designing complete systems—from architecture and APIs to interfaces and developer experience.

Most of my recent work revolves around:

  • AI-powered products
  • SaaS architecture
  • Backend systems
  • Developer tooling
  • Performance optimization
  • Mobile applications
  • Design systems

Experience

Over the last four years I've worked with startups, product teams, and growing businesses to build scalable software used in production.

My experience spans:

  • Legacy system modernization
  • Offline-first architecture
  • Payment integrations
  • Backend architecture & APIs
  • React, Next.js & React Native
  • Production incident diagnosis
  • Code review & mentoring
  • Performance tuning

Some of the projects I've worked on reduced infrastructure costs by over 99%, modernized legacy applications, and introduced scalable architectures that continue to support growing businesses today.
